Jenison Junior High School Bulletin for Monday, December 10, 2018
Science Olympiad... Anyone interested in Science Olympiad can still join. We meet each week Tuesday through Friday after school in room 312 at the high school.
Bowling Club... Bowling Club starts January 7. The cost is $20 to sign up and $6 each week which includes 3 games and shoes. There will be a sign up December 11 during both lunches in the cafeteria. See Mrs. Zeitunian with any questions.
Ski and Snowboard Club... We will hit the slopes of Bittersweet again beginning on Monday, January 7, 14, 21....leaving school at 4:00 p.m. and returning at 10:00 p.m. The bus picks us up and drops us off in the back of the school between the junior and senior high. Price for the student club card is $17, and the adult club card is also $17. With this card your lift tickets and rentals are discounted to $17 for students and $21 for adults. All the information you need will be located in the junior high office. If you will be riding the bus...there is an extra $45 fee per person for the 3 trips (or $15 per trip). Multi Cultural Advancement Scholars Club... Come join the multicultural club Tuesday, December 11 in Room 37 (Mrs Koole-McCurdy’s room) as we learn about how different cultures celebrate holidays! We will decorate cookies and learn about traditions important to ourselves and others. Sign up in Mrs Watson’s room so we know what supplies to buy!
Links... Attention all 8th graders: We are in need of some hard working, kind, and out-going Links for 2nd semester! If you have already taken Challenges and Choices and would like to get more information, see Mr. Moran in room 14. There are only 4 spots available so don't wait!!
