Girls Swim & Dive Any girls interested in Swim & Drive, there will be a meeting on Thursday, October 16 @ 7:40AM in the gym.


Winter I Sports season starts October 20. If you are looking to join a sport, please make sure that you are registered in Final Forms an have a cleared physical on file prior to tryouts and practice. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Urban in the Guidance/Athletic Office.


Hat Day... This Friday is Hat Day! Stop by the table at the front entrance and pay $1 and get your hand stamped to wear your hat all day!


Boys Basketball Any boys interested in playing Basketball, tryouts for 7th Graders is Monday, October 20 through Wednesday, October 22 from 3:00-5:00 in the Jr. High Gym. Tryouts for 8th Graders is Monday, October 20 through Wednesday, October 22 from 5:00 - 7:00 in the Jr. High Gym. Please make sure you are registered in Final Forms and have a cleared physical on file BEFORE tryouts.


Competitive Cheer Any girls interested in Competitive Cheer, tryouts are Monday, Oct 20 from 4:00 - 5:30 in the Jr. High Mat Room with a parent meeting following at 5:30 in the Jr. High Cafeteria and on Tuesday, Oct 21 from 6:00 - 8:00 in the Jr. High Mat Room for 7th Graders and from 4:00 - 6:00 for 8th Graders. Please make sure you are registered in Final Forms and have a cleared physical on file BEFORE tryouts.


Cross Country Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Cross Country teams for their excellent races yesterday at the Regional Meet. 17 of the 20 Jenison athletes set season best times. The boys team took 3rd place out of 11 teams. Earning medals for their top 20 finishes were Hans Templeton in 3rd place and Tyler Kretz in 17th place. The girls took 7th place out of 14 teams. Earning medals were Gloria Bilic for finishing in 7th place and Harper Henderson for winning the race. Harper set a school record for the 2 mile with a time of 11 minutes and 27 seconds.


Girls Volleyball On Monday, the 7th grade white lost a tough match at Riley MS, won the second set, but lost the first and third. Leading the team in serving was Morgan Sebolt with 9/10 serves and 3 aces. Faith Giffin had 3 kills, and Lily Bonacci had 2! Good work girls.
